Dry Sage Dressing

DRY SAGE DRESSING

INGREDIENTS:

9 CUPS TOASTED BREAD CUBES

1 1/2 TSP. SALT

3 TSP. GROUNG SAGE

1/2 TSP. GROUND BLACK PEPPER

1/2 CUP TURKEY STOCK

1 SMALL ONION - MINCED

SEVERAL CELERY STALKS - MINCED

1 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE


DIRECTIONS:

TOAST BREAD CUBES. SAUTE THE ONION AND CELERY IN THE BUTTER. COMBINE
WITH THE DRY INGREDIENTS. SPOON INTO THE CAVITIES OF A 10-12 POUND
TURKEY. CLOSE OPENINGS WITH SKEWERS AND LACE TIGHTLY WITH STRING.
BAKE TURKEY ACCORDING TO WEIGHT SCHEDULE.

EXTRA DRESSING CAN BE PREPARED AND COOKED IN A CROCK POT. COOK ON
LOW HEAT FOR 3 HOURS.
