An easy family appetizer from Chelsea combining meatballs with a sweet and tangy sauce made from chili sauce, cranberry sauce, pineapple and grape jelly. Everything comes together in the slow cooker, making these especially convenient for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag fully cooked meatballs
- 1 jar chili sauce
- 1 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup grape jelly
Instructions:
- Place the cooked meatballs in a slow cooker.
- Add the chili sauce, crushed pineapple, cranberry sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and grape jelly.
- Stir gently to combine and coat the meatballs with the sauce.
- Cover and heat in the slow cooker until the meatballs are hot and the sauce is completely melted and blended, stirring occasionally.
- Once heated through, set the slow cooker to WARM and serve directly from the crock pot.
Tip: These are ideal for entertaining. Put out toothpicks or small appetizer forks and keep the meatballs warm in the slow cooker throughout the party.
