My interest in cooking began with my mom, who was a wonderful cook and studied at Le Cordon Bleu in London. She had some great recipes, and I wanted to learn how to recreate the dishes I grew up enjoying—and, just as importantly, find a way to preserve those recipes.
That was really the beginning of this collection. Over the years, I continued cooking, collecting recipes and trying new things. Around 2010, I decided to take my interest a little further and enrolled in a six-month evening culinary program at the Westlake Culinary Institute.
Since then, I’ve continued to collect recipes from family, friends, cookbooks, magazines and cooks whose food I enjoy. Some have been family favorites for years; others are more recent discoveries that were simply good enough to make again.
GB Recipes is my way of keeping all of those recipes organized in one place—and sharing them with family, friends and anyone else who enjoys good food.
A collection of recipes worth making again.
