Chinese Chews

INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP SIFTED FLOUR
2 TBS. SUGAR
1/4 TSP. SALT
1/2 CUP BUTTER

CREAM THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND PRESS INTO A 9 X 13 PAN.
BAKE AT 375 DEG. FOR 10-15 MINUTES.
2 TBS. FLOUR
1 1/2 CUPS. BROWN SUGAR
2 EGGS
1 CUP NUTS
1 CAN OF COCONUT
1 TSP. VANILLA

COMBINE ABOVE INGREDIENTS AND SPREAD ON TOP OF THE FIRST LAYER.BAKE AT 375 DEG. FOR 20-25 MINUTES.
