Raisin Bars (Aunt Mae)

RAISIN BARS -- AUNT MAE'S

INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP RAISINS COOKED IN 2 CUPS OF WATER TILL REDUCED TO 1CUP.-- COOL.
1/2 CUP SHORTENING
1 CUP SUGAR
2 CUPS FLOUR
1 EGG
1 CUP RAISIN LIQUID
1 TSP. SODA
1 TSP. CINNAMON
1/2 TSP. CLOVES
1/2 TSP. ALLSPICE

CREAM SUGAR, SHORTENING, AND EGG. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATELY
WITH RAISIN LIQUID. SPREAD IN GREASED JELLY ROLL PAN. BAKE AT 350 DEG. FOR 20-25 MINUTES.
